Breakdown of the Results
For the CGSOS Class 10 examination, the board stated that a total of 65,557 students registered, with a gender split of 35,364 boys and 30,193 girls. Out of the total registrants, 62,051 students appeared for the exams, with the results being declared for 57,105 students.
In the Class 12 exams, the total registration was 37,471 students, out of which 34,161 appeared for the exams. In terms of performance, 4,013 students secured first division, while second and third divisions were obtained by 7,320 and 6,923 students respectively.

For this year, 9,653 students achieved the first division, 15,180 students scored in the second division and 11,801 students in the third division. The overall pass percentage stood at 65.46 per cent.
The board also highlighted the performance difference between the genders. The girls achieved a pass percentage of 67.72 per cent, surpassing the boys, who had a pass percentage of 63.56 per cent. A total of 37,383 students passed the Class 12 or Higher Secondary exams.
