As per the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday, India’s death toll has reached 5,31,230 with 40 new fatalities, which includes 11 reconciled by Kerala. The total tally of Covid cases in the country stands at 4.48 crore.
Positivity Rates and Recovery
The daily positivity rate is reported to be 5.46 percent, while the weekly positivity rate is 5.32 percent. Active cases now make up 0.15 percent of the total infections, and the national Covid-19 recovery rate is 98.67 percent.
The number of people who have recovered from the disease has surged to 4,42,61,476, and the case fatality rate is recorded at 1.18 percent.
Vaccination Efforts
