    Process of Performance Analysis

Generally, there are three stages for conducting a gap analysis.

    Stage 1

Under this stage, those issues are recognized, which can be presented as a goal but are not yet been achieved.

Further, it is very crucial to overcome these issues not only to enhance individual and group performance but also to enhance the performance standard of the whole organization.

    Stage 2

These standards are developed not only to define the current performance but also to overcome the problem related to standards.

    Stage 3

Under this stage, a sequence of steps is organized and implemented, which helps the organization to move from the current standard toward the desired standards.

Depending on the circumstances, both performance and performance factors could vary from each other. For differentiating among different forms of performance, usually, organizations use a system known four needs system.

Job, training, individual elements and business are the elements in which the evaluation is organized.

The rating of business needs is done according to the outcomes and effects on the market; job performance is concerned with the behavior of the employee, and needs of training are concerned with the knowledge and learning of employees.

Whereas individual requirements are dependent on how various people respond to a particular condition.
