    Qualifications and Age Limit

    For the Tamil Nadu Civil Judge Vacancy 2023, candidates are required to hold a degree in Law and have a certain amount of practice in any court as an advocate or a pleader. An Assistant Public Prosecutor must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Fresh Law Graduates from a recognized university can also apply.

    In terms of the degree, candidates must have secured an overall percentage of 45% marks for reserved categories and 50% for others. All applicants must also be eligible to be enrolled as an Advocate.

    The age limit for this position is a minimum of 25 years and a maximum of 42 years.

    Application and Examination Fees

    The registration fee for the application is set at Rs.150/-, with an additional Rs.100/- for the Preliminary Examination and Rs.200/- for the Main Examination. There are no fees for SC/ ST/ Destitute Widow/ PWD Candidates. The payment of these fees can be completed through Debit/Credit Card or net banking.

    Salary Details and Selection Process

    The salary structure for Civil Judges is as follows:
